Anne-Sophie and Philippe, it’s the story of a family. A family united. United as well in the difficult moments as in the moments of joys. Life doesn’t make just gifts, and they know it better than anyone else.
Accustomed to fend for themselves, they have nevertheless decided to use a wedding planner service to organize their “retro countryside wedding”. We have gently tamed ourselves, and it’s step after step that they have really succeeded in trusting me and letting go.
Very creative, they knew what they wanted. A wedding to the blend of tradition and modernity and which comes out of the ordinary. The risk ? They tended to get lost in their choices, wanting to do everything and that it became draft. But it was without counting my presence with them to accompany them step by step. To bring them back in the right direction at times when they were getting lost. They trusted me and we created together the “retro countryside wedding” they dreamed for them, their family and loved ones.
The beginning of the day didn’t necessarily go as planned. A lot of little setbacks: the old car traction rented for the couple out of order, misunderstandings on the arrival schedule of the family, an extension of guinguette garland who didn’t work … The perfect day for a good coordination and full occupations 🙂
And the bride and groom in all this? Well, they were preparing each other gently on their side.
Miss around the pool, in a dreamy bucolic setting
and Mr in a room with ancient vaults surrounded by his family.
A discovery session was done before starting the first part of their couple pictures shooting. A moment always beautiful and moving because the future spouses finally find themselves and discover themselves in bride and groom suit.
They are ready. Him, back, she’s behing him… She arrives, he feels and there, the emotion to discover his future wife …
The couple photos were realized in two stages.
1st in a rural setting
the 2nd at the Royal Tower of Toulon at the seaside.
And yes, we must not forget that civil wedding took place in Toulon. We had to do some pictures by the seaside.
The first official “Yes” at the City Hall. Then departure of the procession for the wedding venue, conducted by the superb old car rented in memory of Philippe’s dad. Going to take place for the wedding ceremony following up.
A very nice ceremony realized and put in place by their ceremonial officer in the chic country decor. A ceremony full of sincerity and love as I love them …
L’entrée du cortège mené par Lucas, le fils d’Anne-Sophie et Philippe arborant fièrement une ardoise ou il avait inscrit “ Mes parents arrivent”
Two rituals have been put in place.
The sand ritual shared in family
and that of the footprint tree.
Many of the guests had never lived a laic ceremony and they were overwhelmed by this sweet moment.
“It’s a lot more emotional than a civil or religious ceremony,” a confession of a guest after the laic retro countryside wedding ceremony.
A beautiful photoBooth space was created by Anne-Sophie and Philippe thanks to decorative elements that we rented,
some games was setting up during the wine of honor to entertain young and old
and finally a superb covered terrace as reception venue.
A chic retro countryside wedding decoration in pastel colors with homemade candles, logs of wood, burlap, lace, superb floral compositions, old objects, and the famous guinguette garland …
The carterie on the table and the guest gifts imagined and created by the bride and groom have come to sublimate the whole.
Because once again Anne-Sophie and Philippe wanted a mix of traditional and modernity in their retro country wedding. The transition between the cocktail and the reception was marked by the traditional bouquet throw but not only that. Philippe also made the buttonhole throw.
Philippe’s mother wanted to organize a little surprise in honor of the bride and groom, so I naturally made a few suggestions, one of which caught her attention. The guests have all lit a magic candle to create a sparkling ambiance as soon as they enter the room. A little more magic in this fabulous day.
A good meal, good wines, good music, a choreography for the opening of the ball, a few surprises, an atmosphere at the top until the end of the night for the delight of Anne-Sophie, Philippe and their guests.
A big thank you to all the super wedding team without whom this wedding will not have been the same.
I want to finish this article by sharing with you a nice testimony of one guest.
“For me a wedding have to be realized by the bride and groom, I didn’t see the utility of hiring a professional to organize a wedding. You changed my mind. Thank you for this wonderful wedding ”
